FAQ

WHAT'S YOUR STYLE? ARE YOU GOING TO MAKE ME DO WEIRD THINGS AND CALL IT "NATURAL"

My style is a mix of documentary and editorial.

Are you going to make us do weird things and call it “natural”

Yes and no, but mostly no. You are getting married - I’m mostly going to remind you to feel that. I want to make photos you will actually put on your wall. I’m going to put you where the light is best and let you two do your thing. I’ll help guide you if things are feeling a little unnatural or stiff.

do you travel?

Sure do. I’m located in Pennsylvania and have photographed weddings around New York, Maryland, Delaware, DC, as well as Seattle + Toronto. Travel fees include flights, airbnb and a rental car.

DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE? BACK UP GEAR? WHAT IF YOU DIE BEFORE OUR WEDDING?

I have insurance, I have backup gear and I have a system in place should anything happen to me.

Do you offer videography?

I do not offer videography but I do have recommendations for videographers who are talented and wonderful to work with.

Can we use our images on social media?

Absolutely! Once you get your photos they are yours. You’re welcome to use them online. I ask that you credit me when using my images and do not add any filters or other edits.

How many photos will we get?

I try not to stick to a certain number but I generally end up sending around 50-100 images per session and 400-600 images per wedding.

Do you offer albums? Prints?

Yes! Actually, almost everyone that books me orders an album. Your wedding will be delivered through an online print and share gallery that you’re welcome to order prints through.

WHAT DOES THE BOOKING PROCESS LOOK LIKE?

Once you send your inquiry via the contact page, we will set up a time to meet at my studio in Kensington or set up a phone call. I don't book anyone without some kind of conversation beforehand! We're going to be spending a ton of time together on your wedding day so it's important that we make sure we are a good fit for each other.
Once we're feeling good about working together, you'll need 25% to reserve me for your wedding date. The rest isn't due until 30 days before your wedding, at which time we will also finalize your timeline for the wedding day. Everything is done online in a way that is easy to refer back to. We'll go over everything else during the meeting.
