WHAT IS YOUR STYLE?
I try as much as possible to keep things natural, simple and authentic. I would describe my photography as a mix of photojournalism and editorial. I mainly focus on lighting and backgrounds-placing you in the most photographic space to let you do your thing. It is not my goal to take any specific photos or copy anything else. It's my goal to document the two of you celebrating your love just the way you do.
I know how my partner & I embrace one another, and the idea of some photographer telling us how to stand in a hundred ways for an hour on our wedding day makes me cringe a little bit. I'm happy to help with posing as needed for couples who are a little more nervous in the beginning.
I always always recommend a couple session so that you can see what works best for YOU. Couple sessions also help a TON with wedding day photo jitters. Pinky promise.
what does the booking process look like?
Go ahead and say hello via my contact form at the bottom of this page. We can set up a time to meet in person or FaceTime to make sure that we are a good fit. We will be spending a LOT of time together on your wedding day so it's always good to get to know each other first. You will need a 25% deposit to retain me for your wedding date.
what are your rates?
On average, couples spend around $4300 + sales tax where applicable on their wedding photography. For all options and a full price sheet please say hello!
Couple and Family Sessions begin at $400 and includes an hour and a half session, a password protected online print gallery, a digital download of high resolution images, and printing rights to your photos.
do you do photography outside of weddings?
YES!!! I do couple sessions (even if you aren't getting married) and family sessions. I also do a lot of other events. I am currently working on adding family sessions to my website (stay tuned). Family & Couple sessions are $400 for an hour and a half.
Do you have insurance?
We have insurance and back-up equipment! I'm happy to work with your venues specific needs.
